LARGE SOHAM SHOP TO LET
The former One Stop store in Soham is now being marketed by Robinson Layer.
Located prominently on the High Street it covers 2,300 sq ft and, with an upstairs flat, is being offered on a new lease at £36,000 per annum.
Mark Robinson of the agents Robinson Layers said; “This property is suitable for a range of uses and comes on the market just as the plan for a new railway station in Soham has been given the green light.”
A budget of nearly £20 million is being proposed, backed by the elected Mayor of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, James Palmer. He said: “Plugging Soham back into the railway system will bring the town huge advantages in smoothing the path for greater investments, better access to jobs for local people and sustainable development.”
The plan is to speed up the planning and design process by overlapping the usual stage by stage procedure.
