Robinson Layer Completes Lease Renewal for Mr Fothergill's Seeds Ltd Headquarters
Robinson Layer has successfully completed the lease renewal of the headquarters and distribution facility occupied by Mr Fothergill's Seeds Ltd in Kentford, Suffolk, acting on behalf of the landlord.
The property extends to approximately 63,000 sq ft of warehouse, workshop and office accommodation with a seed testing area, on a 6.5-acre site and serves as the headquarters of one of the UK's leading suppliers of seeds and gardening products.
The instruction involved negotiating a new lease that secured the landlord's long-term investment objectives while enabling the tenant to continue operating from its established headquarters. As with many lease renewals, the transaction required careful negotiation to balance the commercial interests of both parties and reach an outcome that worked for everyone involved.
Steve Harvey, Partner at Robinson Layer, commented:
"This transaction demonstrates the value of proactive asset management and early engagement with tenants. By working collaboratively throughout the process, we were able to secure a successful outcome that provides long-term certainty for our client while enabling Mr Fothergill's Seeds Ltd to continue operating from its established headquarters."
