SCIENTIFIC PUBLISHER MOVES TO WESTBROOK CENTRE

Scientific publishers, eLife, is moving into new premises at the Westbrook Centre off Milton Road to take 5,370 sq ft of office space.

Mark Robinson of the agents Robinson Layer said: “We originally advised the eLife team when they took their offices at 24 Hills Road five years ago and again on the Westbrook Centre deal.  We have also advised them on their fitting-out costs and helped them select their fitting-out contractor.”

Lena Dowdall, eLife Office & HR Manager, said: “Our move to the Westbrook Centre is due to growth and expansion plans at eLife; we have now outgrown our current office at Hills Road. Previously we were located at Sheraton House, Castle Park, Cambridge.

“We utilised the services of Robinson Layer back in 2013 when we moved to Hills Road, and chose them once again when we had identified a suitable location, to assist with lease negotiations and advice on fit-out and dilapidations.”
