Chartered Quantity Surveyors, ST1 Consulting, have purchased the freehold of their 1,840 sq ft offices in St Thomas Place, on Cambridgeshire Business Park, Ely.
Mark Robinson of Robinson Layer who handled the sale, said: “We initially let the offices to the firm in 2011 on a five year lease with an option to buy. Whilst the option was not taken up, ST1 decided to buy the building in place of renewing its lease early next year. They were advised by Cheffins.”
Robinson Layer also have a ground floor mid-tech offices and workshops/storage at St Thomas Place of approximately 1,515 sq ft to let on a new lease on flexible terms. It is a mid-terrace single storey unit with forecourt parking for nine cars suitable for office, laboratory, industrial or storage uses. It has recently been upgraded to a basic office standard, and is offered at an economic rent of only £15,000 per annum exclusive.
